Ok, I've been messing around with my digital camcorder making some amature/short films... I've been using premiere Pro/7.0 and have been very pleased. Very powerful and easy to use, a huge step up from their previous 6.x versions. The fact that Transitions/Effects are done on the fly is awesome... However, I would like to see more video effects...like some that they use on this video (http://section31.us/temp/tila.mpeg). (Note: Video is of a model dancing in a thong...LOL)

Anyway, I just want to know what video editing software is your favorite. Notice I used the the word favorite and not whats the best.

Thanks,
Dave

Ahh.....I love that one too...but I only use that for clipping xvid/divx video files...etc... A very handy and powerfull little tool. Avery Lee, author, is awesome for keeping this free and open source.

Well, I realize most of the members seem to be PC users, that's fine with me...but I use a Mac to edit video....

Any chance of adding Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express to the poll?

I guess if you wanted to cover the low end you could also add iMovie and Windows Movie Maker...
