Reading/Translating Imovie format to PC

Does anyone have a method for translating files created using Imovie to any DV authoring program on XP? I transfered hours of analogue video to my Mac (old, 9.x, no MPEG Codec) and burned svcd's a low res. I have the original Imovie files on a Maxtor firewire HD. I could go and rent a new mac, dump into a dvd and transfer that way, but I'd prefer not to.

Any ideas?
