Hi folks,

Maybe this is silly and well known, but this is what I found the other day and I was quite surprised. I had a DVD backup with mp3 vbr audio, but quite low. I was going to reencode it to raise the level (via normalisation) but then I thinked about trying to tag it with a replaygain value. I've always thought that this value can be tagged into the file but wasn't readed by any directshow filter. I open the file with MP3gain, apply track gain and then remux the file into a Matroska file. Having no hope, I've found that the file is readed at the tagged value!

Tried only with MPC, and the MP3 decoder is the default (system).

Did anyone noticed that? Anyway, is there a way to do the same thing with OGG vorbis? (foobar, maybe?)

Regards
