Hi,
I am backing up a homemade dvd of mine and i want to edit it using avid express dv. i already have the dvd on my hardrive as in mpeg2 format, apparently avid wont accept any file format other than omf. I tried importing uncompressed avi files, quicktime movies, mpeg2 (obvioulsly) but it wont read any of them. I placed them all in the OMFI directory and it detects them right away but leaves me no choice but to ignore them. How can i bring these type of file formats to avid so i can edit them? specificly hoping to edit the mpeg2 format i have.
