selectable text (.ssa) subtitles ?

Hi,

i had ripped my subtitles into the sub statio alpha (.ssa) format, so i can select fonts etc. but if i merge these files into an .mkv container, windows media player 6.4. can't play it. now i have one .ssa with the same name as the movie and others must be loaded with vobsub manually.

is there a way to make .ssa subtiltles selectable like normal .idx + .sub subtitles ?

how come you're not using mpc? It allows you to select the subs from the player's window.

Windows Media Player does not even support AVI, so why do you expect it to work with even newer stuff? :angry:
