Hi
I running MSI TV@nywhere with virtualVCR on winXP
but I getting dropped frames (6 or 7) at EXACTLY 1 hour intervals
IT must be a OS system app but at the moment i cant find which one.
Has anyone else come across this and did they find the culprit ?
any suggestions appreciated

I'm running XP pro with virtualvcr. If I get any dropped frames it is when I first start. It is usually one, but never more than 2. Have you tried shutting down all processes except virtualvcr.

I am a recent convert to VirtualVCR (I've done only about 7-8 captures with it so far), but I have yet to have a dropped frame on any of them. My OS is XP SP1. In addition to echooff's suggestion, have you looked at your capture drivers? Also, have you tried a different capture program, just to see if the the problem persists?

@kevzee
Have you tried reinstalling the (latest) drivers, defragment your HDD, changing audio sampling frequency, and even maybe try different sound card?
Which A/V sync method are you using? You should use "Dynamic resample", because other methods drop frames when audio and video desync (and that can happen in same time intervals).
