MKV filewriter for Helix Producer by jcsston

I wanted this excellent plugin written by jcsston to have its own thread. It is hard to find somewhere inside the long and windy Real 10 Platform thread.

It was originally first introduced in this post (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=430615&highlight=mkv+filewriter#post430615), with a small update further down in the same thread. The latest version is available from corecodec.org (http://corecodec.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=15&release_id=124).

EDIT: corecodec seems to have had problems. Here is the new download location (http://mkvwriter.corecodec.org/mkvwriter-v0.0.3.zip)

With this plugin you can have Helix Producer write its output directly to Matroska-MKV. No need to use mkvmerge. Instructions are included.

Nope, I haven't been working on it anymore.
It was an interesting proof-of-concept plugin, but since most users added audio streams and subtitles after encoding it wasn't that useful.
