Ok after much searching on the forums I decided to go get Menuedit. Its a cracking little program and I bet when its used to its 100% potential it'll do wonders :)

I'm having a few problems though.

My 2nd attempt with Menuedit worked without a flaw. I hide some buttons and changed their behaviour of button to "jump to non deleted" I hid subtitle & special features buttons as I replaced them with a 12k vob but I didn't replace their corrusponding menus, just hide them so was unable to navigate to that menu. I also replaced some intros etc.

My next attempt failed, this is what I did.
Edited Video_TS.vob.
Edited/replace some trailers VTS_2_xxx
Edited/replace part of the menus which co-incidently where inthe same title set as main movie.
Hide some buttons to Subs & Special Features as the Special Features where removed.
Replaced the actual Subs & Features Menus.

The part where I think i'm going wrong is like here

10. Copy .ifo, .bup and if needed .vob (see note) files created by IfoEdit back to your VIDEO_TS directory;
Note: MenuEdit does correct navigation info in the vob file it is working with. So when you replace/delete cells in menu vob everything is fine (it is just one file); when you modify movie vob and there are some more vob file(s) in this title set after modifyed - they will not get corrected. Then it is necessary to copy VOB files created by IfoEdit as well.
From here http://menuedit.dimad.net/ht_me_update_ifo.html

As my menus I have edited are from the VTS_3 which has other VTS's in it do I have to replace these.

Are there any more in-depth tutorials on Menuedit anywhere?

Questions:
Can you edit/replace the Video_ts.vob?

Thanks

Can you edit/replace the Video_ts.vob?Yes. Even though in Step 10, it says theat MenuEdit corrects the navigation info for single VOBs(menu VOBs), I still do a mock VOBId strip in Menu Extras as a personal precaution for me. That's doing a VOBID strip but keeping all the ID checked. This is just to ensure that the VIDEO_TS.IFO sectors are properly corrected.
