Is there a way to convert a pal dvd to a ntsc dvd keeping all information intact meaning the menus and other stuff. the dvd I wish to convert will fit on a dvd+/- r/rw but its pal format.

Well do you know if your DVD player can handle PAL content at all? Many can. The thing that frells them up is the damned region codes. But using DVD-shrink you can recompress and de-macrovision/de-region the whole disc including menus to fit on a DVD-5.

There is forum for DVD authoring.
Conversion is possible, of course, but it's not simple.
You need to extract video and audio, slow audio 25>24 fps etc...
And then reauthoring all. Not for beginners.
