I've muxed an xvid video (no qpel, gmc, packed bistream, with b-frames) and one he-aac audio stream with 3ivx muxer into an mp4 container.

When playing in wmp 6.4 or media player classic the edges of people, faces, and other objects are stuttering (blocks are apearing):(
The problem occures only when using 3ivx video decoder. With xvid decoder there is no problems (tried with replacing 3ivx video decoder with xvid video decoder in graphedit)
In nero showtime also no problems!

Any ideas what could cause this problem?

That must be a bug in the 3vix decoder.

Yes there have been changes recently in Xvid that have broken a few decoders like 3ivx and libavcodec. You should probably expect updates relatively soon where 3ivx is concerned. They seem to be on the ball. Libavcodec should also be fixed soon. But the limbo state of ffdshow could mean it will not be fixed for quite some time if ever. :( Hopefully milan will resurface or someone else will pick up the torch. So for now use Xvid, Divx, or ffdshow(with 1 or less bframe per packed bitstream). Hopefully those decoders will get bitstream AR support soon.
