Hi everybody.

How do I join a (long) movie that was originally on two DVD-9's into a single PGC, that I might then compress and burn onto one DVD-5, or, alternatively, split (again) into two equally sized parts using IfoEdit?

Best regards,

Madibaman

Proceed like you would for a douuble-sided dvd ("flipper") ... two options: use dvdshrink in reauthoring mode or use ifoedit - guide can be found here: http://users.pandora.be/rudy.stremersch/joinclip.html#joindbl

Hi.

I have never tried to burn flipper discs, so i wouldn't know how. Can I really just use DVD Shrink in re-author mode?

I will try, and thanks.

Madibaman.

I believe that's what smiller meant.

This post is a slightly re-worded version of this one (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70699http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70699). In that post, Kediriken offered you advice and asked a specific question which you failed to answer, letting the thread die. If you're still having problems with this issue, please go back and resurrect your initial thread on the topic, and there, tell us of your tests, and the results of same. Posting in that thread will have the same effect as creating a new thread....it will come back to the top of the board. It would also be polite if you'd answer the question asked of you there.

Thread closed.
