I just bought a new sony dvd player, their highest end model on their site. Now when I turn on the progressive scan with my HDTV i get to see all of those lovely blocks from the compression on DVD2One. Often now the dvd skips, is there anyway to fix this? Try a different program than DVD2one, different burner (I have a HP 200i), or just turn off the progressive scan?

Do it the hard way - use CCE (Cinema Craft encoder) to re-encode your DVD's.

Or the easier but more expensive way - backup to two disks.

what do you mean by?
Do it the hard way - use CCE (Cinema Craft encoder) to re-encode your DVD's.
Would that put it on 2 dvds as well or what?

CCE will allow to to recompress to fit on one disc.
When you backup to two discs the general idea si that yu preform no recompression at all.
Also you can gain quaility by stripping menus/auio/extra features that you don't intend to use.

Ya I currently use DVD Decrypter and then DVD2One, so what you guys are saying is that using CCE is better than DVD2One. I am also assuming its not anywhere as easy to use.
