Hello to all of you
I'm looking for a software, if possibly something ran from a console/shell so that I can easily get its output using 3rd a party program Im planning to make.
Informations i'd like to gather (when possible) are: bitrate (audio, video) codecs (video Xvid/DivX etc... audio: OGG/MP3 ...) movie length, resolution, and basically any other available information if I missed out some crunchy ones.
I dont know whether such program already exists, but if does, please tell me :)
In advance, thank you
- Tsuna

Ok, thanks to arska_ @ #divx-rippers @ EFnet, I found this lil handy program g-spot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) which does almost everything I needed
It's a very complete tool and the only requirement left unmet is that it doesn't have command line functionalities, or they are undocumented.
But still, you can drag&drop a large amount of files and the program can output textfiles with the stuff you want in it for each movie you put in it...
This makes the whole prossess half-automated, which is good enough at the moment (I mean, for me)
hopefully the author will do something about the command-line issue in the next release

Yep - G-Spot is absolute a must tool when needing whatever information outta system video / audio codecs, registry entries, missing codec entries when troubleshooting, quality issues hunting and much more...
I first got it with Kazaa Codec-Pack v2.10 and the new version came with latest v2.20 release (which also does inherit divx v5.1.1 both en- and decoding pro codecs, XviD, 3ivX (4.45), WMA & WMV 7,8,9, Cyberlink & Ligos MPEG2-Decoders, avisynth, ON2 VP6, VobSub, BSPlayer and all possible decoders (+encoders) from mp3, ogg, AC3, mpc to huffyuv lossless video, Matroska, FourCC Changer etc etc AND GSpot and what best: links to get the latest versions of each (free ones) directly...
Just google for it if need some of those many codecs and helpers ...
