I have "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" original DVD but it has no subs, so i tried to put in it some. Here's what i did:

- Ripped to HD with DVD Decrypter (File Mode),
- Used SRT2SUP to convert .srt subs to .sup,
- Demuxed with VobEdit 0.6,
- Muxed .m2v, .ac3 and .sup with IfoEdit 0.96 (DVD Author).

Everything's fine except the movie is constantly breaking while i playback (both with PowerDVD and my DVD player at the living room). The movie kinda jumps or freezes (don't know the correct word) during a second or least and sometimes the video and audio get out of synch. I tried to play the .m2v file after demuxing and it's ok so i suppose the problem is in the muxing. I've done every procedure without even being in the PC, just let it work by itself. I have 1024MB of RAM and "plenty of everything" (processor, disc space, etc), so i don't think it's an hardware issue.

Am i doing this right? Anyone knows what's wrong? Alternative ways of doing it? Changing preferences? Please help  Thanks.

Hi

It could be the quality of your media?

Have you use this media with success before?

Hi,

I mean what type of DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W are you using?

If they are cheap it could be that their quality is low and this is causing the playback problems not the creation process!

I don't even need to burn it to DVD (although i did and the results are the same), cause i playback it on my HD.

You can try some "real" DVD authoring software to mux all your sources together. I guess DVD Lab is freeware for first 30 days. You can give it a try.
