I'd like to use permanent subs for my standalone dvd-divx player.
I use VobSub and it works perfectly but I want to use the empty space at the bottom of the picture to get rid of the sub on the movie.
I read many threads about moving subs (using the X,Y origin in the .idx) Fine, but I don't understand how it really works.
Let's say I have a 2.35:1 movie. Using GKnot I finally resized it to : 640x272. Then I change the .idx, adding 100 to the Y value.
Does that change the movie size? Or is it a kind of overlay? (I'm not sure of that)
Can someone make things clearer?
Thx
