Pre-release of Gangs of New York

I've got a pre-release version of Gangs of New York where a message pops up periodically throughout the movie stating that it is the property of whichever studio produced it.

Is there any way of getting rid of this before I make a copy?

Well, it's kind of a bad idea to post this kind of questions in these forums since they may imply copyright violation, which all the members here are strongly against. Read the forum rules on the subject.

Anyways, it'll be a waste of time trying to remove such a logo since it's most certainly embedded into the video rather than stored as a subpicture.

You absolutely should read the rules, especially #6. There is no question about the legality.
