I am wondering if DVD-Decrypter is the best way to burn .vob files to a dvd. I am unsure of how to use it and the guide on doom9.org is kinda confusing. Help would be much appreciated.

The best way is a matter of opinion. In my opinion, DVDDecrypter in combination with ImageTools classic is the best way to burn DVD files to a DVDR. I know there are a lot of people who think differrently - if for no other reason than that making an ISO image is an additional step.
Now you have some information to help you form an opinion.
Anyone else want to provide their opinion?

Kediriken--Oddyseus uses the procedure you've described, and as far as I know, has never experienced a burn failure. While there are several ways to accomplish this task, your endorsement, along with his, is all I would need.
Rdy--Both of these programs are well documented and have guides here in the forum. Dig around on the Guides page, or run a quick search and you can easily come up with them.
