Noise remove question

Does removing the noise in an mpeg file with TMPG also remove video detail? or does it depend on the extent of noise filtering? Also, is there a way to convert 2 channel mp2 audio to 6 channel mp2 audio?

I am unsure about your first question. The answer to the second question is no. Mp2 is a stero format audio. 6 Channel must be ac3, ogg, acc, or dts. If I missed any, someone let me know.
