Hello,

My movie consists of vobid 1 and 21 cells.
it goes 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 etc.
I want this vobid to be 2 instead of 1 so it will go:
2/1, 2/2, 2/3 etc.

Is there anyway to do this?

Open your VOB with MenuEdit (unregistered version): it allows you to change any VOB/cell ID in your file :)

i would assume after you have done this, that you will need to re-build the IFO files using IFOedit.

Maybe not...
Open your VTS_0?_0.IFO, go to VTS_PGCITI ---> VTS_PGC_1 ---> cell position in VOB and edit the values. Try if it works for you.

thanks all for your replies.
what I did is to use vobedit -> join clips.
But then I got vobid from 2 to 6 which was not what I wanted.
the solution is to move one vob file to another folder and to use join clips on itself. you repeat this 6 times for each file using vobid 2 and everything works fine.

I will now try menuedit method. I do this because I want to join 2 sides of lotr 1 together.

Another question is:
Is there a limit as to how many vob files there can be?
because my end product will have 10 vob files (approx. 9.4 GB)
Is this possible to have and then create new ifos using ifoedit?

You can have 9 vobs for each titleset from VTS_??_1.VOB to VTS_??_9.VOB, and 99 titlesets, from VTS_01_?.VOB to VTS_99_?.VOB.
