Hi,

Is someobody familiar with the capture of your desktop (ie games, apps, etc) using the Pinnacle DC30?? I also have an ATI 9800 AIW, so what i have tried is i connected svideo out of 9800 to the video in of DC30. Captured fine, but video looks awful.... no sharpness..... looks just like desktop looks on a TV.

Anyone know how i can get a very nice desktop video??

Thanks :)

For games -> use FRAPS.
For desktop use Camtasia.
They are free / trial versions of both.

yeah, ive used Camtasia... horrible for games. I was just wondering if there was a way to get it done with my DC30 and/or 9800 AIW. Just tried FRAPS with Red Alert 2..... dont work for some reason :(

There is a prog called Screen Vidshot. It can capture everything what happens on the screen to avi. It's from www.geovid.com

"Snag it" can also capture everything on screen. IIRC you can select FPS and different encoders in settings.
