I use DVD Decrypter to rip my DVDs.
I encounter one issue with the "Map to" feature. Take this DVD as an example.
C:\DVDVolume\Three.jpg
As you can see, there are 4 audio streams: 0x80, 0x82, 0x83, 0x89. For 0x80, I can map this stream to anything from 0x80 to 0x87. However, for the 0x89 stream, I can only map to 0x88 - 0x8F... that is, i cannot map it to, say, 0x81.
C:\DVDVolume\Four.jpg
I tried using SmartRipper doing the same thing... SmartRipper allows me to map the 0x89 stream anywhere.
Why is it like this?
On a related question... take this DVD as an example, when there are four streams... why dont they fill up 0x80, 0x81, 0x82, and 0x83. Why would they leave 0x81 open and use 0x89? I am just curious.
