What version do you use?

I use 3.0 myself.

Just got ahold of version 3.0 very recently, used 2.7 before that. Don't actually use Scenarist very often though...

What's the point of this thread? Scenarist 3.0

I'm curious as to how many people use scenarist, and if they do, what version they're using.

People say it's hard to use and stuff like that, it's all pretty straight forward in my eyes. It seems like the so-called "complexity" of the program keeps people from using it. So that's why I'm wondering.

File > New?

To import stuff you can just drag it in from the explorer.. come on.. is that even close to hard?

hmm, just drag it fom the explorer aye... does that go for all the files?.. even subtitles?

and also when I start the program.. or selecting "new" I always get this wizard thingie... like step-clicking-through guide

Yeah, that wizard thing is kind of anoying. I have a little routine where I open, select the .scn file (in the wizard) click like hell until I get to the part where it asks for the target folder, and click like hell again until scanarist opens. Drag in the video, drag in the audio streams for it, drag in menus, overlays, map it out in the scenario editor, multiplex, create image, and done.

even subtitles?
I would assume so. It says how to do everything in the documentation. There's a file in the documentation folder called "Scenarist Tutorial.pdf".. it says how to do everything.

Easy peasy japanesey
