I'm working through that guide and find that I need two things that I don't have and would have trouble getting.

1) Scenarist
2) Cinema Craft's encoder. The guide has a line that says, Press OK, then browse to the path where CCE has been installed and select the cctsp.exe file. After selecting the file, DC4U will close and CCE will be started. Close CCE and start DC4U again. This "cctsp.exe" I found from searches this file is Cinema Craft's MPEG encoder.

Both of these things are outside of my budget. Besides trying to find these from a filesharing network, what are my options in getting these programs?

Also I'm finding jumping from DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor to the programs in the tutorial to be a bit overwhelming. It's like I've skipped a few steps in the learning curve. Can anyone suggest maybe the next step past these beginner programs and maybe a tutorial that'll hold my hand along the way?

Sorry but the right and only way to say it here at Doom9 is that you have to buy them. ;) Please don't mention about obtaining them through filesharing networks as that would be cutting it close to violating forum rule #6.

Here's a sticky thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21753) from the Advanced DVD authoring forum as posted by Doom9 on getting Scenarist. CCE is pretty much the same way and is available at http://www.cinemacraft.com/eng/home.html.

2COOL is absolutely right in pointing you to Rule 6. We don't allow the discussion of file sharing.....period.

Thread closed.
