VCD MPEG - Green Blocks Crash

[Uncle Nasty Fingers]

Some VCDs I try to convert give me errors in every app I try to use with them. When I try to PLAY or CONVERT them, I will see a few mangled frames with GREEN BLOCKS for a few seconds then it crashes.

Others are fine.

Yet when I play them from the VCD, there is no problem.


Anyone know what may cause this ?
