View Full Version : Demux -> Out of synch

Hi everybody!

First of all: Normally I wouldn't bother opening a thread for something as easy as this, but I really have no more idea how to fix my problem.

I'm trying to backup a 4CD VCD to one DVD. So no big deal: Convert the .dat files to .mpg using VCDGear, demux the files with TMPG and we are all set...usually.
The method described above works out fine for three of the four VCDs. But with the last one, I really have problems like I never had before. The audio is always out of synch after demuxing it.
It becomes one second longer than the video file and not even DVD Maestro (my authoring tool, some might know it) can do something about it with it's powerful "Create synch audio track" feature.

So I tried to work on the Audiofile. I converted it to .AC3 (can't be the problem, I used BeSweet...and I used it with the other three aswell and it worked) and played around a bit with AC3Delay - no avail.

And now I am sitting here and I have no idea, how to fix this problem. Hope some of you might have a tool or something else at hand to help me out. C'mon...you guys always have something! ;)

Thanks in advance! :)

Forget everything! I just found out that it is the .m1v file that got 5(!) seconds shorter during demux! So this is about the video, not the audio!
