I bought some O1ne DVD RW discs and using my Pioneer 106D, it cannot even go past the "lead in " bit when Nero reports a Write Error, when I try to erase the disc, I ended up with a Erasing error. I Then tried Bulkpag 1X speed and I have the same result. I tried 2X speed such as Ritek, Imation and Infinity and there were no problems. Is there a known problem with the drive using 1 speed disks?

I use Traxdata DVD+RWs and Datasafe DVD-Rs at 1 speed on my Pioneer 106 with no burning problems.

I had this issue with crappy Memorex DVD-RWs. I then bought some Riteks -RWs and haven't had a problem since. I blame it on crappy media, as it's the only time I've had trouble burning a DVD with my 106 (I only use Ritek -Rs, and now only Ritek -RWs).
