Where to change sub. position, after launching project?

Hi!

I have launched a project, AVI to DVD with external subtitles.
Unfortunatelly, the subs are on a bad position.
Can I change the position somewhere in the .ini files created by D2S, and than recover the project? I hope I can reposition the subtitles without restarting the whole project.

Try playing with these variables (the one that applies to you) in the pertaining INI file:External PAL Y-Pos=480
External NTSC Y-Pos=400That should do the trick.

I have managed to modify the .ini and restart from dvd authoring.

Unfortunatelly after restarting, the subs went out of sync. Is this a known issue? I did ntsc to pal project. Subs seem to be NTSC now, there is a progressive desync, that becomes very hard even after some minutes.

My answer was about the position of subs vertically in the movie, it has nothing to do with "time" position, which I think it is what you are after. Cannot help you there. Never done subs like that.

No, You did not misunderstood my question. Just my reply was not clear. (I know you have forum rules in your mind :-))
My question was about the position. With your help I could fix the position, thank you again.
Just after restarting the timecodes went wrong, but the position was OK. So solved a problem, but have a new one.

I will start the project from the beginning.

BTW, I don't think that changing the vertical position produced the out of sync issue... I hope you don't run into that again when starting from scratch.
