Any way to gain the real ogm file back?
I also deleted the original BIN/CUE.
But since the filter can still read the file there must be a way to get the original back, no?

As stated in the readme.txt, use dat2file.exe to extract the original file correctly.

Most likely... or the file is really broken :-/No, not at all 'most likely'. The file is really broken. It does not matter whether or not it is still on the CD itself, or has been copied to the hard disc with all the XCD overhead.

true. but it would be a great testcase for the new test7x filter. it now comes with an xcd2file.exe that's about the same sa dat2file, but it's using the reading mechanism of the dshow filter. which means, that if it plays with dshow, it should be possible to copy it to th hd using xcd2file.
pls be patient, test7x will be released shortly (you can follow this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69761) thread about the new filter version).
