hi,
i tried to backup a dvd with the big 3. everything worked fine but now i´ve a little problem with scenarist.
scenarist reports
Track(VTS_01_PGC_01) Sub-Picture stream 2 does't have Sub-Picture data.
ok..it is right...i disabled the second sub stream because it contains no important information. i tried to import VTS_01_VSUB_P1-02.dummy.sst genreted by doitfast4u. looks like there´s still a problem because scenarist reports "Cannot add data outside the valid video duration"....
because i´m new to authoring i´ve no idea what went wrong. i can´t just delete the sub pic stream 2 because after it there are some other streams....
i would appreciate any help....
thx

That error message sounds like the subtitles do not fall within the boundaries of the video file timecodes.
Open the dummy sst and change the time display values if need be.
If it's not that, then I don't know.

00:00:00:00 00:00:00:02
are the values you'd change.
The thing is those timecodes are fine, provided the start timecode of the video stream is 00:00:00:00 (as should be the case with DoItFast4U I'd think). If it were 00:59:34:00, say, then you'd want the values to be:
00:59:34:00 00:59:34:02
The start timecode is displayed on the timeline in Scenarist

Sorry forgot about this thread...
Anyway, assuming you still haven't got this resolved, go to the track editor.
Now, see where your audio and subpicture tracks are...well above that is the video track. On top of which there are time values (in the "time scale" row). Now they should start at 00:00:00:00 and progress along to 00:01:00:00, 00:02:00:00, etc.
What is the first value that appears on the time scale, at the start of the video stream? Is it 00:00:00:00 or something else?
