!! Dead DVD's !!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

hello im triying to make a back up of my anime ( i usually dont but today i found out that my Full Metal Panic DVD's where dead i almost kill my self i tried everithing any way i bougth them again and i will get them by this wensday, now my question is how can i put 2 dvds in one, this dvd's are dvd5 so i want to put 2 dvd5 in one or atleast in stead of having 2 chapters for each dvd i want to have 4 ( is a huge waste of money to put only 2 is not like i can se a big diference in the quality the original dvd is only 2.34gb it self ) can any of you guys help me? hope you can ( if you can point me to a guide with big pictures will be even beter ><!!! thanks again have a great day

PD i will go buy any software i need just dont make me buy half the software that is out there or anithing that adobe made ><! ( if i can do it with freware even beter :P )

there are several good guides, made by 2c00l, in dvd authoring section forum, and in doom9 site.


Try a little search.
And remember use the force : Ifoedit (or dvdfab...)

yea i tried to look in the forums maybe im looking for the wrong thing i tried to search for two dvd's to one and two movies in one dvd dint have much luck just found some post about some guys wanting to put a menu to chose to what dvd go to. and in doom9 i dint find any guide about puting 2 dvds in one, maybe im looking in the wrong place pls point me the rigth way thanks again :!)

They are there. Some of the titles are not what you might expect to see because it describes a method or piece of software. But it is there.

I'm assuming you have region 1 too. If so, the DVDs you have are not DVD-5s. Each DVD or mission has about 3 to 4 episodes. Even if I put only episodes 1 to 4 from mission1, it still wouldn't fit unto a blank DVD without compression. Well, maybe, if I get rid of unwanted audio. Now, are you trying to keep your menus or you just trying to keep just the episodes on a DVD with the menus? I'm confused by your 2 chapters for each DVD as ,really, there are again 3 to 4 episodes per DVD. Again, I'm assuming that when you mean chapters, you mean episodes. I'm curious...is this a different regional DVD or a bootleg? I don't know of any other Region 1 versions except the ones I have.

o when i said 2 chapters i wasent talking about my full metal panic i was talking about last exile ><, i dont care about menus or anithing a simple menu where i can chose epi 1 2 3 or 4 will be more than enough like the ones one can make in nero for vcd's. i fodun today that most of my anime that i had in cd is gone i guess thats what i get for buying cheap cd's i buy each dvd at 68 cents so now im afraid they will die in 6 months too :(!! shoud i star buying the 2 dollars for each dvd ones? like ritek etc. i use matrix dvd-r from shop4tech.com so far they play great. all my dvd are region 1 or free i dont buy the region free ones any more a friend told me they where botleg and the whole idea of buying was to suport the guys that made the anime, so now i buy from efly and animenation. where do you get yours? ( do you know any shop where i can get used dvd's? my friend say he bougth some from the rental place for 9 bucks!) in stead of 20-49
