View Full Version : How to extract subtitle from OGM/MKV

What program can extract the original SSA/ASS subtitle file from OGM/MKV files?
I use VirtualDubMod and it always save a srt file which lose all special effect although it knows the subtitle is in SSA format.

you can try ogmdemuxer http://cyrius.bunkus.org/ogmtools.html

never tryed on ssa but hope help you

as for mkv, mkvextract in MKVToolnix sould help
