dvddecripter to hd not able to select the options using cyberlink

I used dvddecripter to copy my movie to my harddrive open the movie in file mode with cyberlink powerdvd when the root menu comes up i cant select any options like extras or sound options. What's the trick.

I am able to select options with the dvd in the drive.

On the powerdvd interface (far right) click on the arrow pointing right. A small window will pop out (pad). Use that to navigate your dvd. It looks like a number pad when no dvd is inserted, but when you have a dvd loaded it changes to arrows (like on a remote).

Every once in a while you'll get a dvd where you have to use the pad.

but It is still numbers on the pad no arrows. I switched to windvd 5 and it works and i like alot better than powerdvd.
