I'm using FU 0.37a to make a .ogm file containing xvid and vorbis.
FU dumps the subs into a new vob file which is then conveted into .srt files with subrip....
now my qusition is..how do i get these .srt file into the OGM file?
i cant use oggmux as it only takes avi files as input.
is ther any simple tool that does this ?

Try using virtualdubmod for this.
(Also as a workaround: renaming the OGM to avi and then adding the srt subtitles [after installing Tobias' SubTitDS filters] should work.)

Thanx for the help but i must be doing something wrong.
(Also as a workaround: renaming the OGM to avi and then adding the srt subtitles [after installing Tobias' SubTitDS filters] should work.)
It doesn't work with oggmux i still need to ad a soundtrack which is allready in the .ogm file.
Try using virtualdubmod for this.
this however seem to be the right tool but it screws up my file.
I add the srt files in te stream list. but i can find a way to name the subs, so they are all just named "subtitle x" instead of Danish,English etc.
However this is not the worst part.
The output file screws up.
I suddenly have two half of the picture. The left are in the right side and the right are in the left side, with a black border in the middle.
Just like if the video is pushed to the right and come back into the picture from left.

OggMux works fine with no audio track added, that is just a notification window warning you about that(unless Nick changed that behaviour of course).
After mux'ing the subtitles into the new file, uninstall SubTitDS(!), and use dvobsub from Gabest (find it over at http://sf.net/projects/guliverkli/ ) to show the subtitles.
It may well be that your font sizes etc. are formatted too big so they'll reach over the video area. You need to adopt your srt then.

EDIT: removed the hint about the spellchecker as you corrected your post now.

Koepi I'm still having problems
I demuxed all the streams with Vdubmod. No problems there and every file playbacks fine.
BUT
if i use oggmux 9.5.0 or 9.5.2-nic to mux the files together i end op with the the video pictures splitted up and change places.
lik this
|
*-----------*

*-----------* OK
------* *-----

------* *----- BAD
it found out it only happens if i mux with the subtitles..
and playback of old oggmuxed files is all OK. So the errate lies somewhere with the muxing.
i have tried reinstalling
ffdshow-20030523.exe
OggDS0995.exe
SubTitDS1400.exe
but it didn't help
-- edit--
seems is was weong.
uninstalling SubTitDS and the fiel playbacks fine.
seem like SubTitDS are having a bug with xvid contense ???
i will try the other sub filter but i would hate to change between filters everytime i have to encode.
any other solution koepi ?
-- edit--
what file do a need to download at guliverkli ?
i triede guliverkli but it was all c++ source
then tried subtitle source but runnig regsvr32 on the .ax file ddint help either
watever if i had subtitDS installed or not

Try playing you video in media player classic, it has a built in OGM splitter and the newest version of vsfilter built into it.

I just downloadet MPC 6.4.7.6 but
It DOES playback the file perfectly but without subtitles.
Same as if i leave the subs out of the file and play with Media Player 6.4...

Try VSfilter by Gabest. The easiest way to install it is by installing the matroska playback pack, which I recomend you get if you don't have the corevorbis and coreaac playback filters. I don't have SubTitDS filter for OGM and my subs playback fine. For that matter I don't even have OggDS 0.9.9.5 installed on my system.
