I am capturing PAL camcorder video through Dazzle Hollywood DV to my PC with Premiere 6.5. I don't usually have droppped frames but every so often, I get "bad" frames, usually only a single frame at a time, where there are large squares of an ugly checkerboard pattern consisting of part of the current frame and sometimes the previous one. Anyway, these are horribly noticeable and I cut them out in VirtualDub but this causes unsmooth motion. Dynapel's MotionPerfect does not seem to help replace them - the frame count at the end is the same as at the beginning.
Does anyone know of a method to replace these bad frames?
