Premiere Pro + Huffyuv = ??? HELP!!!

:devil: Well let's see. I need help with this one over here. I have a Bt 878 chip based card and the illusion\hope drivers for it. I capture with Virtual dub at
640x480 YUV2 color. Ewerything works fine, i capture in any video format and with any codec. The videos are played OK with windows media player or any other player. I tried divx, xvid, angel potion. They work OK in WMP and in Premiere Pro. Then i try to capture and compress the file with Huffyuv 2.2.0 with the default options set. When it's done, Windows media player opens it, and any other player works well and the picture is normal. When i load it into Premiere Pro, the picture is messy and there are all kinds all colours in it. I guess it has to do something with yuv colors. OK, so i capture again with huffyuv options changed, and it does the same. And again with other options - same. What should I DO????!!!



I also have the Picvideo codec so should i forget Huffyuv and use this????

Hello, thastarter. For some reason, your thread was marked as "invisible." It seems to happen by itself once in a while; might be a bug in the forum software.

I can't answer your question, because I don't have Premiere. But at least I can make your question visible to others, and hopefully, you'll get a helpful reply.

Turn the RGB output on in huffyuv may help.

But generally, premiere doesn't work well with huffyuv. You may find problem elsewhere:(
