a lot of DVD players come out with scanty, cryptic or incomplete manuals, and one can find they actually have features that aren't reported anywhere in the manual or on the box...
i thought it'd be semi-useful (if only for trivial purposes) to list them in a thread... here's my effort:
Hyundai HY632PS (australian model)
this has an on-board DTS decoder and is capable of reading DTS encoded CDs! i was shocked to find this by accident while looking for a commentary track. the logo on the front says "digital out" like most players without decoders, but it seems to play everything i throw at it. the player cost me AUD $80... that's not much at all.
anyone else found something about their players, or know of such things?
