I got "Gods and Generals" movie. It uses 2 DVDs. The movie is splitted. I wanna create my DivX with 3 CDs and my question is:

After decrypt DVD 1 and then DVD 2, how can I join this VOB files to create a mega VOB compatible with AutoGK? I know that ig I try to do that on DVD2AVI, it is ok, but How can I create a new mega VOB with my IFO, VOB files... Like a DVD9?

If you are converting to DivX you don't need to make one giant vob file. Rip both sides of the "flipper disk" into two different directories. You will now have:

\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_2.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_3.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_4.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_5.VOB

and

\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_2.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_3.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_4.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_5.VOB

rename the video in both directories like this:

\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_01.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_02.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_03.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_04.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side A\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_05.VOB

and

\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_06.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_07.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_08.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_09.VOB
\Gods and Generals Side B\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_10.VOB

now move all the vob files to the same directory and open the first vob with dvd2avi. DVD2AVI will automatically append the rest of the VOBs. Since you are converting the video to divx and not reauthoring the dvd you don't have to perform any additional steps.

For those of you who found this by thread by searching for "flipper" or "Gods and Generals" like I did and want to reauthor a flipper check this out. http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html scroll down to the middle of the page to "Joining Double Sided DVDs."

there is another alternative, in case you want a bit more control about the point where the 2 parts are joined (maybe add a second of black and silence or blend smoothly or remvoe a part the repeats or...)
but it'll only work easily if you don't want to keep the ac3 audio

do as if you'd encode both CDs separately and then join both d2v files (in the way you like) in avisynth [and their audio aswell]
