I have previously encoded a few movies using WME9 anamorphically, just cropped the black borders and then selected 40:33 (for NTSC) in the PAR menu. When I played them in WMP9, the correct AR was recognized and played back just fine. I just recently reformatted my hard drive and then encoded one movie doing the same routine, but when I played it the correct AR isnt displayed anymore. I tried to play my other previous encodes and now it doesn't play the correct AR either. I have no idea why this is so. :confused: Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
