Hi. OK...you need 2 programs to do this. DVD Decrypter http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Rippers/SetupDVDDecrypter_3.1.9.0.exe
and BeSweet http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Audio/BeSweetv1.5b25.zip
First, in DVD Decrypter, open your disc and then go to Mode>IFO I
Then go to the Stream Processing Tab. Click Enable Stream Processing
Basically what you see, is all of the audio tracks on your DVD. It should be relatively easy to know which one is the movie.
Check the appropriate stream and then click on the Decrypt button.
(the picture of the DVD and the green arrow)
DVD Decrypter will then extract that audio stream to the selected destination.
Now, when it's finished you should have a VOB file about 200-300MB.
Now it's time for the hard part:) BeSweet is very complicated!
Install BeSweet, and then under the locations section, you need to tell the program where the exe file is. It should be wherever you installed it to. Click the little file icon and browse your computer until you find it. Then, you need to tell the program what source you want to make an alteration to. (This is the VOB file you just extracted with DVD Decrypter) Use the same procedure with the little file icon next to input. Output will be automatically filled in.
Now, under BeSweet Profiles select DSPguru MP3 for Music-just click once so that it is highlighted.
Now, click the VOB to MP3 button which should be Green.
The Transcoding process should now begin. I've just transcoded a Star Trek movie as I was writing this, to make sure it all works.
The total timeframe is about an hour using both programs.
If you need to convert your MP3 file to WAV, I recommend a program called CDEX available at Download.com I also remix music, and I have used segments of movies. It's really neat!
Hope this helps. Post again if you are having problems:)

:helpful::goodpost: Trapvector--Thanks for taking the time to detail your experience with BeSweet, it's certainly not the easiest for a noob to get the hang of!

:) Thanks for the compliment. I really do appreciate all of the time, effort, money, creativity, etc. that it takes to create and make available all of the programs on Doom9. Unfortunately, I don't have any spare money to donate (not yet anyhow), so I feel like the way I can "give back" for using these programs and guides, is to help other users who are having difficulty. That is why I joined the forum. Maybe one day I won't be a noob HA HA :)

If you need a wav file don't transcode to mp3 first. Use BeSweet to go directly to pcm. Remember, everytime you transcode you lose quality. So do it as little as possible. Good job explaining BeSweet trapvector.
