The problem is that I have a .avi that has a aspect ratio of 1.85:1 608*336 and I have to convert it to either 720*480, 720*486 or 704*480 in order to import it into adobe encore dvd. I understand because they are diffrent aspect ratios that there is going to be some kind of distortion, but for the life of me I can't get it even close. Does anyone have any idea on a good setup or a link to some kind of conversion index. Also because I'm encoding it in MPEG1 I have to deal with getting the black bars setup too.
