After wiping Windows XP off my system and reinstalling Windows 98 im having trouble ripping at high speeds on my Toshiba SD-R5002 with any program. It seems as if the drive keeps stopping and starting giving speeds of about 5 or 6 for a second and then going off for a second. I have aspi 4.60 (1021) installed and its driving me mad...
any ideas???

It amazes me how some people are afraid of change! If only they'd give things a go. They often run into one little problem and then BANG, off comes a far superior program and on goes the crappy bug ridden 'no longer supported' previous version.
It's a wonder why people even bother releasing new versions of programs when so many people have this frame of mind.
