OK, I’m trying not to get crazy… I’ve tried it with Windows movie maker 2, Pinnacle Studio 8.10.2 and finally with WinDV but my Sony TRV-250 just get some frames and small parts of movie. It seens to be some problem with synchronizing.
I've also tried to capture a small part of not-edited movie with WINDV (worked OK!) and send it back with the same software (didn't worked)
I "ate" the Sony TRV-250 cancoder manual and there is nothing about it
Please, someone has an idea?

Maybe the firewire-in on your camcorder is locked? Most camcorders have locked firewire-in ports so they won't be declared as "digital video recorders" (which would make them more expensive because of higher import taxes).
If it is, you can most probably unlock the function with some software and hardware package - just do a google search.

Another possibility is that you have changed the frame rate during your editing, which your camera can not deal with. I have never tried sending a DV recorder a wrong framerate clip, but I imaging it would give the problems you mention...get some frames and small parts of movie. It seens to be some problem with synchronizing.

I have a Sony 130 and was having the same problem. I found that if you render the edited video as a DV file first then select the file to be sent back to the camcorder it worked fine. I was trying to send the edited video straight back without rendering it first. It may work for you.

You could be write...but my camera is HI 8, already digital. Are you sure that is really necessary? What software do you use to render it?
