Hi,
I've just been doing some encodes where the source material is a dummy avi from vfapiconv.
Upon completion I always get the following error.....
Runtime Error 216 at 0000 2D8C
I click ok then AutoRV9 comes back to the finish screen.
Is this a producer problem or AutoRv9?
I noticed that the CMD box with producer doesnt close until I click the OK on the box advising of the error.
Thanks

"Runtime Error 216 at 0000 2D8C"
VB6 ==> AutoRV9. You're missing some DLL/OCX :(

Does that stilly tally when it only does this while feeding autorv9 with a dummy avi via avisynth?
Thanks

Dunno, I don't use AutoRV9 a lot, so I can't tell :)

Some tips for isolating Producer crashes:
The only way to know for sure is to take the cmd line that AutoRV9 produces (it's visible at the top of its command line window) copy this (you may have to enable QuickEdit mode), and repeat the command in its own cmd line window in the softs\Rp9_Light sub-folder of AutoRV9. It should read something like:
producer -i path\filename_Movie.avs -lc e,d -ad c:\AutoRV9_Movie.rpad -vm sharp -am music -o path\filename_Movie.rmvb
When using a not so common input format (dummy avi from vfapiconv), it is easy to suspect a problem there. Remember, Producer reads files via DirectShow, not VFW. Can you play the AVI in DirectShow player?
Actually, in either case, is there a crash.log in Producer's directory? This may contain some useful information.

=>"Runtime Error 216 at 0000 2D8C"
doesn't look like a vb6 error (vb doesn't display memory address).
vfapiconv create fake .avi so i will check if autorv9 , avisynth or producer have problem with them.
Ps: why do u use vfapiconv instead of avisynth directely ?

At the time I was trying to apppend the dummy avi's in vdudmod directy. This dint work due a restriction in vdub's core.
At the moment I have opened the *.m2v in vdubmod, added the audio stream and then frame served this to a file.
Each of the 12 files were then alignedspliced in avisynth. This worked nice. :)
I hasnt finished yet so i dont know if it'll bring an error as before.
Thanks for the reply.
