Hello,
I use the newest GKnot Package 0.28.7 and i'm a very
fan of it since month. :p
The only thing that always messed the usability of
the "rather perfect" gknot is, that I always have to
convert ac3->mp3 and then resort to manual mp3gain
to boost the sound to an "acceptable level". I got
pretty used to the "standardgain" of mp3gain's
"89 db" and would like to fix it at that level for
all rips.
Does gknot in 0.28.7 automatically maximize the sound
and/or it's possible to change the flow to the extend,
that it can call the commandline of mp3gain after
demuxing to mp3 ? The forum-search doesn't shed very
much light on it, since it often deals with the
versions pre-7. And I don't see how to fiddle with
that stuff without wading into "the source".
Maybe I miss something very simple, entering besweet
switches somewhere, because I tried alots last days
and I'm pretty back "klicking" around.
Thanks for any help
