Hiya,

Whenever I capture my DV video from my Sony TRV-22, the audio is 32khz...is this correct or am I doing something wrong? I have tried using Ulead Video Studio and Ulead Media Studio...also I cannot find any way using either of these programs to extract the WAV file (it is DV type-1)...is there any other programs you suggest that are simple and easy to use? I don't want to do anything fancy with the video, just put it all on a DVD.

It did happen to me once. It's not related to the capture method is either:

1) Capture audio settings. Make sure you set audio to 48khz.
2) Does your camera record in 48 khz? Some cameras only record to this samplerate, but i think only old DV ones.
3) You really record to 32khz. Sometimes, when recording in LP mode, camera record audio to 32khz, i don't know why, bnut it happens once to me. Since i always check audio recording settings before pressing the rec button! :p
