More often than not, I have complete success with backing up my movies. Audio matches perfect, video looks great, everything is a success.
However, there are very few movies I encounter (ie. Encino Man, An American Werewolf in Paris, Lost in Space, and more) where I encounter audio sync problems. For some reason these movies usually tend to have a -66ms delay, no more and no less. When I re-encode them changing the delay to 0ms they turn out fine. I can't figure out why this happens with only a select few movies that I own.
A feature I would like to see added to Gordon Knot is the ability to mux audio and video without having to re-encode the whole project. This would be a simple script to write I'm sure, I'm just not an avisynth expert so I'd like to see this ability somewhere in GK. This would save me hours of encoding time being able to change the delay and just mux them.
Thanks again for making such a great program for DVD backup.
