View Full Version : ReAuthorist setting VTS01 (Main Movie) as a Dummy? (40 Days & 40 Nights)

I am currently working on backing up 40 Days & 40 Nights ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243736/ ) DVD.

I have successfully gotten to the step of ReAuthorist and was about ready for encoding. I noticed VTS01 did not get 'imported' into ReAuthorist. It was replaced with a "Dummy".

There are only two VTS sets on the DVD, VTS01 contains the Main Movie while VTS02 contains some extras/trailers/etc. VTS02 appeared in ReAuthorist fine, all 10 PGC's were present, while VTS01 became a dummy substitute.

A thought I had; when I was demux'ing with DoItFast4U!, it said VTS01 contained Angles. According to DVD Decypter, VTS01 has two angles (each with 20 chapters); angle 01 contains cell 01 and cell 03, angle 02 contains cell 02 and cell 03. Would having multiple angles for a VTS confuse ReAutorist? If so, what is the best way to work around this issue?

When moving onto DoCCE4U, only VTS02 populates the Jobs field. I think this is from the non-importing in ReAuthorist.

Versions of software:
DoItFast4U! v1.4.0.0
ReAuthorist v1.0.0
DoCEE4U v1.0.1.5 Beta

Please say if any more information is needed (logs, etc). As always, any and all help is appreciated.

Yep, from what I've seen, RA flat out refuses to acknowledge the existence of any VTS that contains angles.

Thank you for the reply Eyes`Only.

Is there any way to remove one of the angles to 'trick' ReAuthorist to accept the VTS set? If one of the angles could be stripped, maybe ReAuthorist will recognize it as a regular VTS set? This sucks that RA doesn't like angles :(

If you don't check 'all angles' then DoItFast4U! only rips angle 1. You could do that in a test folder and then see how the filenames should look and use that as a template to figure out how to rename the other files.
