I'm trying to rip Croatian subtitles to .srt format, but it seems that Subrip 1.17.1 (and 1.17) saves it in "western" and not in "CE" encoding, what would be correct. I didn't have this problem before (WinXP).
Subtitles opened in Notepad or other editors like EmEditor don't display Croatian characters correctly. When I use "reload in different code page" function in EmEditor and load it in "Central European (Windows)" code page, characters are displayed correctly but after saving, nothing changes. Even characters in Croatian GUI are not correct (see attached image or link (http://free-sb.hinet.hr/stargazer/images/subrip.gif)). Also, when I edit character's matrix, wrong chracters are displayed. I'm able to type right character in "modify" field, but after applying changes, characters are still wrong.
In Subrip options I have selected right codepage, and my WindowsXP regional and keyboard settings are correct.
Am I missing something or it could be a bug?
BTW, my english is not so good, so if you don't uderstand something - ask... :)
