i'm ripping this one particular movie as XviD with AC3 audio. i forgot to save the Logs, but i've tried encoding the movie a few times. i made it 2 CD, but *whatever* i make the bitrate, CD2 ALWAYS becomes 688 MB (even when i put in a bitrate i've calculated in a bitrate calculator).
it's 2 CD, so i'm looking for a total size of 1400 MB, minus the 300 MB for the AC3, so around 1100 MB. however, whenever it gets cut, the 2nd CD is only 688 MB, so it always encodes to a size much smaller than 1100 MB. i'll try to make another encode, and i'll post the Log, if i get this same problem again.
