View Full Version : Splitting a movie bug

I've encoded a movie (LOTR - the 2 towers) and checked the 'split files' checkbox. I chose 2 CDs.
VirtualDubMod (1.5.10.1) worked for quite some time and produced 2 2GB files!

Setup:
GK 0.28.7
Xvid - latest (1.0b3) 2 passes.
VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1.
Movie dimensions 608x288.
The audio is 448Kbs AC3.
File system NTFS with plenty of space.
CPU - p4-2.533GHz.
OS- WinXP pro SP1- fully updated.
The movie length was about 1:30h (1 DVD - half of the movie).

The large movies played OK, but contained the same video (the entire DVD).

BTW, the auto-split feature for the subtitles (VOBSUB) didn't work either (I used it on the files I split manually of course).

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Anyway, great (greatest) tool :)

Eric

Hi-

Use an older version of VDubMod. See this thread for more information:
